Can you believe it’s already that time of year again? The Fourth of July is definitely upon us, and if you still don’t have any plans be sure to check out any of these community events! Each one is free and will have a lot of family friend activities and of course food vendors. If you’ll be staying home for the holiday, be sure to check your city’s guidelines and regulations concerning the use of fireworks. Safe and sane is the way to go if you’re unsure! Pico Rivera Annual Fireworks Spectacular
El Rancho High School, Pico Rivera, CA
July 3, 6 p.m.
Free admission! The gates to the Spectacular will open at 6:30 p.m. with inflatable amusements, food booths and other family-friendly activities. The evening will include live entertainment by Mass Appeal, who will be taking the stage at 7:00 p.m. on Ernie Johnson Field at Don Memorial Stadium. The evening will conclude with the annual fireworks spectacular show lighting up the skies above Pico Rivera at 9:00 p.m. Bleacher seating for the fireworks show is available in the football stadium. Attendees can also bring blankets and lawn chairs for ground level seating. Either way, the fireworks display has been designed to allow for unobstructed views from all areas within the event zone.
Santa Fe Springs Independence Day Celebration
Los Nietos Park, Santa Fe Springs, CA
July 3, 4 p.m. – 9:15 p.m.
The “Easy Viewing Area” at Santa Fe Springs Athletic Fields located at 9720 Pioneer Blvd. will be available at 8 p.m. and offers the same great view to the fireworks show as the main event site at Los Nietos Park. Just bring your chairs and/or blankets and enjoy.
For guest and spectator convenience to and from Los Nietos Park and Santa Fe Springs Athletic Fields, a shuttle will be offered from the Town Center Parking Lot, 11740 E. Telegraph Road. The grand finale will be a spectacular Fireworks Extravaganza at 9:00 p.m. sharp!

Monrovia 4th of July Concert & Fireworks Show

Free admission! Monrovia’s 4th of July celebration includes a concert and fireworks show.
Spectators may reserve a park space no larger than 10 x 10 feet starting at 6 a.m.; the space must be supervised at all times.
Entertainment begins at 3pm with a DJ playing recorded music, followed by a concert featuring Stone Soul from 7- 9 p.m. The 20 minute Fireworks Show is free of charge and is scheduled to begin at 9pm.
